This poster is supposed to be promoting a hilarious spoof of romantic comedies but there is nothing funny at all about it. There's not even anything humorous about the tag lines. Just a complete waste of time.
We can't really fault the poster designers for this one. After all, it appears to represent the movie quite well. So, like the movie itself, this poster is just plain revolting. Don't you just want to slap those stupid smiles of both their faces?

What's better than two Duff girls on a poster? How about four? Then again, maybe it would've been better with none. One can understand what the poster was trying for, but it fails miserably. Do we really think the girls are in the poorhouse? Sure, they're waiting for a bus, which must mean they are broke, right? Couldn't they at least be wearing grubby clothes and not look like they just stepped out of a salon? To make matters worse, what the heck is Hillary looking at? She just seems to be staring blankly into space. Painfully bad.

The main plot of this film centers on a girl masquerading as a guy. Even the title basically tells us so. But for some reason the poster seems to have forgotten this point. Years ago, the poster for Just One of the Guys had a hilarious way of showing a similar basic plot. But this one doesn't even try, unless you count the confusing run on sentence of a tag line that attempts to explain the entire plot.

Sure, we expected a cheesy poster, but there is such a thing as good cheese and bad cheese and this one just plain reeks. Samuel L. Jackson just looks like he's been pasted in there, who knows what the woman in front is doing, some guy in the background appears to be asleep, and we don't even get to see a single snake. Just plain painful.
What a good teaser ought to be. A simple but effective image that gets the idea of the movie across. The blood spattered Christmas ornament tells us all we need to know.

A wonderful way of introducing the film to people by showing the grinning car peeking out from beneath the cover. Also cute that they say it is from the "manufacturers" of The Incredibles and Finding Nemo.

This poster puts the tease in teasers, giving us a mysterious image of wet footprints and the promise of a bedtime story from M. Night Shyamalan.

A great image to go along with a memorable film title. Some have complained that the way one of the snakes loops around the bottom of the plane is impossible, but it is still very eye-catching.

The famous Superman logo, but redone to look more high tech than before, telling us we can look forward to a whole new super hero.
Nothing particularly wrong with this poster except that it is basically identical to the poster for the first movie. Surely there could have been some change made to the skull and cross crutches design to better signify a sequel.
The striking match has always been an important part of the series openers so the idea of using it on the poster sounds great. But in this case it simply doesn't work. Perhaps it needed a different background or maybe it is simply that a single image can't properly capture the match being struck. Whatever the reason, the poster seems far too bland to promote an action packed film.

The posters for this film never seemed to really grab people's attention. In this case it seems to be especially too close up to the ship. We get no sense of the ship itself. Showing the entire ship would likely have been much more effective. Check out a poster for the original film to see a more kinetic design.

What's in a name? In the case of Rocky there is probably a fair bit. However, simply displaying the name of the movie in a teaser seems pretty lazy.
NOTE: It has since come to our attention that this design was simply used for early promos and never actually made into a poster. Therefore, it is out of the running.

As many people have pointed out, the posters for this film lead to confusion over what the actual title of the movie was. In this case, one is likely to assume it is either "Go Home" or "Go Home Turistas". Meanwhile, the girl in the picture simply does not seem scared enough to make us realize this is a horror film. The second poster at least includes the shadow of a scalpel but based on this poster one might think it is a Christmas film about a student needing to go home for the holidays.
Featuring the art of Phil Roberts, this poster is overflowing with hilarious images.

Hard not to snicker when you first see Robin Williams in that silly wig. The tag line just makes it funnier.

There were a whole bunch of humorous Nacho Libre posters but this one was our favorite simply because Jack Black looks so serious despite that outfit and pose.

A hilarious spoof of the Saw II poster. Especially love that cute little band-aid and the "I will not saw any more fingers" scrawled in the background.

Jack Black gets a second poster in the funniest category and is shirtless in both of them. Here he is featured in a funny spoof of Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam". Sure, it's been spoofed before with Bruce Almighty but it is still quite funny, especially with that pompous tag line.
最勇敢海报？？因为 these poster designs believe subtlety can be just as important as star power for selling a film.

Sure, the names fill up a good portion of the poster, and those with sharp eyes can tell that is Sean Penn's silhouette, but it is rare to have that kind of starpower absent from a poster.

Once again the names take up almost half of the poster, but instead of a ton of floating heads we get the memorable image of the tattered Kennedy poster instead.

Instead of big floating heads of Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway we get the iconic image of a rather devilish shoe.

Three big names are nowhere to be found on this poster. Of course some might get a little confused trying to match up the three female singers on the poster with the three star names.

Perhaps the makers of this film thought that the Poseidon name was enough to carry the film itself, but it is surprising to see stars like Kurt Russell and Richard Dreyfuss not even mentioned in name on the poster.
This international version of the poster tosses out the subtlety of the first US version (though it still uses the bloody ornament) and goes right for the shock value of displaying one of the main actresses in the film with her eyes gouged out. Very nasty!

Not quite sure what is happening in this poster. The fact that the woman is on top is really confusing. Is she attacking the monster? Are they sharing an intimate moment together? Regardless, that is one revolting creature and a very frightening poster.

The most frightening thing about this poster is the look of sheer terror in the woman's eyes and the fact that we can tell she is screaming even though her mouth is covered. It's hard to look at this without wanting to leap into the poster and rescue her.

Here we have another woman in jeopardy. This time she is being pulled down by thousands of grasping hands forming the shape of a face. Wouldn't want it looking down at me from my bedroom wall.

Lots of creepy posters for this film, but this one, with faceless nurses from hell, is by far the most frightening.
